Director of Marketing

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Director, Marketing is responsible for establishing & implementing strategic and tactical communications plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand. Our Director of Marketing will build a creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing function that builds brand awareness and reputation, provides a steady flow of sales leads, and measures the return on marketing program investments. The ideal candidate will be hands on, self-motivated, resourceful, and have impeccable communication & leadership skills.


  • Develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic marketing plan for Blue Sky Therapy and for each business line. Target markets include Skilled Nursing Facility Owners & Administrators, Outpatient Clinic Owners, Physicians, Consumers, Communities, Home Health Agencies, and Prospective Employees.
  • Implement strategic plan with assistance of internal stakeholders including Chief Quality Officer and Directors of Operations.
  • Develop and manage marketing budget.
  • Evaluate and utilize social media technologies such as blogs, RSS, video, webcasts etc.
  • Manage the creation and production of all marketing collateral and sales support tools.
  • Be accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results.
  • Enhance Customer Relationship Management processes & technologies.
  • Perform market segmentation, targeting & positioning for each business line.
  • Execute integrated online/offline, search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, tradeshows, and other campaigns to generate demand & sales leads.
  • Conduct research & evaluation of vendor solutions and manage relationships.
  • Work directly with Sales and business line partners to support their efforts.
  • Develop a strategic decision-making, prioritization, & governance process.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, i.e. product/project management.
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments, and best practices. 


  • University degree or college diploma in business, MBA preferred
  •  Minimum of 7+ years experience in a marketing management position
  •  Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts, and practices
  •  Strong project management & performance measurement skills
  •  Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
  •   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  •  Able to compile and analyze performance data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation and subsequent campaigns
  •  Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills
  •  Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  •  Effective time management, organization, and leadership skills
